'7 roads to downtown' came into being one boiling Queensland summer day, when Alana left WA to visit her brother Marcus. In a sweltering beach side flat, songs were written, recorded, and then played live for the first time that same night! '7 roads to downtown' is an entity created from memories of listening to country and blues music on the straight roads north during family holidays, and the despondancy of heading south again. The feeling of the images that are seen on the road, is what will drive '7 roads to downtown' towards a long and winding story.
