I'm in independent composer/producer working in Melbourne Australia. I don't think of these ambient pieces as wholly completed works, but more as studies or sketches of ideas. My influence for creating them can come from a specific idea, sound or technique or some combination of all of these elements. I have always enjoyed listening ambient music, and I think that there is a real place in the sonic clutter of our world for music & sound that folds into our environments and acts as a sonic landscape from which other ideas and feelings can emerge.
