Las Vegas Review Journal

(Available For Booking And Representation) ) That article above has shown up in alot of newspapers and websites all over the country. On February 1st, a couple more reviews came out, one in Portland Talent Magazine, my hometown. and also one in Las Vegas Talent Magazine, where I live. That was pretty cool. Starting to get some press! My first CD, "Better Be Home Soon", was just released onto 250 websites, including I-Tunes, E Music, Rhapsody, and Napster. We've been getting some great reviews, and airplay on several country music stations. I've been on "The Mark and Natalie Show", twice, on 95.5 Clearchannels KWNR New Country Radio here in Las Vegas. Doing some promotion in some key areas...and getting that CD placed for sale in some retail locations. We're promoting a few songs to Country radio, and plan to land a song on the National Records charts...more than a few candidates off this first CD. Dan Stewart (702)689-1939

Hi Dan,
I listened to your songs on your website listed below and the songs are absolutely fabulous! Especially 3 Wooden Crosses. I love that song and you are probably the only person besides Randy Travis who can sing that song. It's kind of like the song "City of New Orleans." I haven't heard anybody sing that song better than Arlo Guthrie. So my hats off to you for 3 Wooden Crosses. I think you are very talented. Regards, Marmie

Hi Dan,
Per our phone conversation, please send me a CD of your 'Better Be Home Soon' album which includes my favorite song, 'Nothin But Your Lovin Will Do'. As I mentioned on the phone, I heard the song on an episode of Northern Exposure called Midnight Madness. Loved your voice and wanted to hear more. Thank you very, very much for chatting with me today and I wish you the very best of luck in your future!

A wise old preacher once remarked, "You always preach best from the overflow". The overflow he referred to is what accrues to a preacher when he spends sufficient time developing his message. The benefit falls to those who listen to what that preacher has to say. Its an “overflow’ which results in a remarkably different and noticeably superior experience for those who listen to his sermons.

Dan Stewart is not a preacher but those who listen to his music enjoy the refreshing benefits of the phenomenon of “overflow”. Stewart has spent time with good music and good musicians in topflight studios in Los Angeles and Nashville. The evidence can be heard in the excellent song selection and flawless production of his Referenda Records album “Thank You”.

Stewart knows what his message is and he knows how to deliver it. From the outspoken yet uplifting confessions of “American Flyer” to the conciliatory gratitude of the title song “Thank You” Stewart’s status as a master craftsman in the art of songwriting is obvious. Although the influence of legendary pop and country songwriters can be clearly distinguished in Stewart’s songs, they are not overbearing but provide a pleasant aural and cultural context for the album. Again they are simply part of the “overflow”.

Listen to Dan Stewart’s music at http://www.mp3.com.au/danstewart and you will not only hear the overflow effect, but you will also understand why this artist continues to rise toward national prominence in the country music industry.
