News, 2 March 2006: Funk collaborated with his mate Frankie Death for the Horrible Hoo-ha EP, the tracks of which should be posted here soon, a couple fo which are up now at the myspace page linked here. also funk is all over the new Vocabularinist album which will be out some time this year & the band's getting back together again & all that. back to the bio below...

My artistic expression is partly a reaction to modern consumerist society, hence the barrage of samples, beatz & noize. apart from that I simply enjoy music & don't believe you need years of practice to get up & play a tune, this could be my Irish heritage talking, a grand old tradition. though the sounds aren't traditional either. see it as the original punk explosion but w/ a computer & no band. largely all my tracks resemble the b-side/hidden track/demo/graveyard shift radio world of uncommercial music though I find some of the tunes catchy occasionally. I gig around Sydney when encouraged. 2 albums have been recorded but not yet properly released: CHOOSE YR OWN DEMENTIA [1997-2000 recordings] & THE PULSATING PERVERSITY OF... [2001-02]. Also collaborative works w/ RATS WITH WINGS, DJ URINAL CAKE & BRET HART.
