Hey Mook

Hobart

Genre:

Indie

Influences:

The ReservesAlex Chilton and Memphis, Townes Van Zandt, Wilco, and the Go-Betweens

Label: None

Expanded to a six piece democratic band of outsiders Hey Mook blend a concoction of rock country folk and pop filtered through their own sense of place. Influenced by Hobart city of love and hate, Alex Chilton and Memphis, Townes Van Zandt, Wilco, and the Go-Betweens among other usual suspects. They could be defined as alternative but do not waste time on altering or pigeon - holing and float past the great mainstream. Catch 'em if you can. The Mooks remain unenamoured with the Tasmanian conundrum of covers versus originals and pledge allegiance to the honesty of generosity, creativity and originality. They wish all and sundry peace happiness and good luck.
