Hucbald is the Nom de Web of contemporary classical guitarist George Pepper. Mr. Pepper has a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music, and a Master of Music Degree from Texas State University. Additionally, he has taken all of the course work fror a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at The University of North Texas.

Though primarily a composer of original music for solo classical guitar, Mr. Pepper has become most known by audiences for his collection of arrangements of contemporary crowd pleasers, such as Tears in the Rain and A Day at the Beach by Joe Satriani, Classical Gas by Mason Williams, Yankee Doodle Dixie by Chet Atkins, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin/Jimmy Page, Spanish Fly by Eddie Van Halen, and Eu So Quero Um Xodo by Dominguinhos.

Additionally, his repertoire includes chestnuts from the standard classical guitar literature: Bourree n E Minor, Minuet in G, Guardame Las Vacas, an original arrangement of Ode to Joy, and several others.
