Liquid M

Sydney based Liquid M, also known as Marlo Hoogstraten, is the hottest trance act in Australia. Combining both epic melodies, banging percussion and driving bass lines, his sound is comparable to the likes of Ferry Corsten, Mauro Picotto, Dumonde, and Tiesto.

- Liquid M’s song “Deep Sea” has been added to the latest “Wild” Compilation (mixed by Nik Fish)
- Liquid M’s tracks “Dream Machine” and “Destination” both feature on “Transmission Vol. II” mixed by DJ Nervous (“Dream Machine” and “Destination” are also available as a 12” vinyl release from Central Station Records)
- “Schizophrenia”, “Sound Of Trance”, “Under Me” all feature on the latest “Enigma 3” cd. - “Schizophrenia” and “under me” also feature on the Trancetibe compilation.
- Liquid M has Remixed Scandinavian Artist K-system’s “Sound Of Arena” (http://www.k-system.nu) which was released throughout Europe.
- Liquid M has done various DJ mixes on Radio shows in South Africa, Ireland, and of course Australia.
- Liquid M’s latest remix of Hurley’s “without you” is about to be released on both cd as well as 12” Vinyl in the USA (negotiations are underway  )
- Schizophrenia and Deep Sea will be available on the “Venom” label on 12” vinyl before Christmas as well.

Liquid M has played LIVE at Transmission on the main stage several times, including Transmission White. He has gained great exposure from being broadcast LIVE on Triple J around the nation as well as getting interviewed for MTV.

Liquid M has just returned from travelling around the globe having DJ ed in Amsterdam, to very excited and enthusiastic crowds.

As soon as he returned he got straight back into the studio and has written a cranking remix of Gwen Stefani’s “What you waiting for” which will have crowds around Australia jumping! Liquid M has been focusing heavily on the production side of things lately which ensures a totally fresh, interesting and new LIVE set every time.

As well as Skyrocketing up the ladder in the Sydney Scene, Liquid M is no stranger to the crowds in Melbourne, Canberra, and Wogga Wogga with several tours under his belt and more interstate performances confirmed.
