The Henrys are setting a new standard in Australian musical excellence with their debut self-titled album, delivering not only heartfelt songwriting and inspired lyrics, but a sense of charity and compassion.

Starting as a side project for members of Brisbane bands rhubarb, dumpster, and Nagasaki, The Henrys quickly gained attention with their stunning debut EP “She’s My Hallelujah” and are set to release their first self-titled LP on December 7.

Musically the Henrys deliver a beautiful set of gentle pop, leaning heavily on strong vocal harmonies and the distinctive flavour of Ryan Williams flute and string accompaniments. She’s my Hallelujah has been compared in style to Elliott Smith, Nick Cave and the Waifs.

A major focus for the Henrys is raising the awareness of third world poverty issues. All proceeds from The Henry’s CD and tours will be donated to TEAR, an organization helping communities in the Asian region.

The Henry’s are taking their blend of laid-back rock to the nation with a tour to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in December 2002. Stay tuned for details.

This is a release immerse yourself in. Dim the lights, light some candles and open a bottle of red.
