Featuring members from The Died Pretty, Exotics and The Stiff Kittens, the Tommys have been entertaining punters in Melbourne and Sydney's more salubrious watering holes with their own blend of roots/groove based surf rock. The Tommys released their album "Grow Fins" in 2001 and have had a number of singles included on compilations worldwide. "Surforama"-Pink Flamingo(Aust), "Whole Lotta Shakin"- Garage-Pop Records(US), "Yeah It's Supposed To Sound Like That"- Colchester Recordings(UK), "Big Wave Riders"- Deep Eddy Records(US), and early 2006 a split vinyl 45 "Lost At Sea"- Fuzznsurf Records(Germany)
