Tabasco Tom Rogerson, formerly with the Swingin' Johnsons of New York, is now resident in Australia venturing out on his own and getting back to his roots; folk and blues with no gimmicks as it was in simpler times. Tom plays a real bluesy finger pickin' style, or "Eclectic Soup" as he puts it, and carries on a tradition in the likes of Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, and back times done by W.C. Handy (father of the blues), Muddy Waters, Sippy Wallace and Reverend Gary Davis.

Over the past few decades Tom has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt, John Hartford, Jimmy Buffett and the late great Sarah Vaughn. Since arriving in Australia he has been a guest artist for Phil Manning, Spectrum, Steven Boyd, Andy Cowan, Tiffany Eckardt and Dave Steel
