Joanne Stacey

With a soaring voice and unbridled passion for music, there is no doubt that Joanne was born to sing. Nominated for "Female Vocalist of the Year" from the BC Country Music Association and twice appearing at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival, Joanne is no stranger to success.

In 2002, joanne released an independent CD, “fly or Fall” in a limited distribution. A collection of 12 original songs covering a wide range of styles from gospel to rhythm & blues, the cd showcases joanne’s impressive vocal range and songwriting abilities. Whether she’s tearing at your soul with the heartfelt title track or tickling your funny bone with “Barbie drives a 4 x 4”, there’s something for everyone. She knows a good hook when she hears one, and isn’t afraid to play with it just for fun.

Now living in beautiful Revelstoke, BC, Joanne is poised for the next level in her career. Working on her guitar playing, honing the craft of writing and performing, who knows where it may lead this talented singer/songwriter. There are plans for a new CD, maybe a tour or two. All that’s certain is joanne’s unbending dedication to music and the joy it brings.
