Hello! My name is Alexsey Zakharenko. I am musician, composer, sound engineer and producer from Kiev, Ukraine. In 2002 I founded "Anthology of sacred music" www.origenmusic.com . It unites the best Ukrainian artists and their CDs that I've recorded and produced since 1995.
United Choir Of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra www.origenmusic.com/monkschoir.html - the famous choir that for many centuries was the legend and the magnet which attracted thousands visitors and pilgrims.
The Chamber Choir "KIEV" www.origenmusic.com/church-music.html -winner of the Golden Diploma at the First Schumann International Choral Competition in Zwickau (Germany). First prize at the 12th International Competition of Chart Music in Poland. Grand Prix at the 7th International Choirs Competition at Sligo (Irland) 2-nd Prize at the Choir of the Year Competition at Llangolen, with the soprano Valentine Boiko winning singer of the Year Competition.
The ensemble of old church music "Sreteniye" www.origenmusic.com/medievalmusic.html (“Candlemas”) was founded in 1990 in Kharkov.. Well-known Greek protopsalt L. Angelopoulos gave invaluable help to the choir. Not only he supplemented the repertoire of the choir with a number of very rare ancient canticles, but also what is the most important he shared his knowledge of Byzantine singing characteristic features.
