A.M.O.S. is basically the exploratory forum for the solo music of composer A. Ortiz.
Through his music, he hopes to explore deeper workings of the human mind and soul, trying to stay clear of the typical formula of what everyone "likes" to hear and instead trying to decide on what everyone "should" hear.

The band is made up mostly of A. Ortiz, and much of it is produced electronically. When played live, A.M.O.S. tends to play in mix with other bands from several different genres in order to experiment with sound and be able to put on a live performance.
