Catweasel are a contemporary rock band based at Canberra, Australia. Their well-arranged quality songs have traces of folk, roots music and blues; dynamic and always melodic. With three well-received CDs to their credit, Catweasel prefer to play original material, although at times they also draw upon some of their influences, performing covers from artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and The Whitlams, to name a few.

On stage and off, Catweasel are professionals. Founders Anthony Ives (vocals) and Jason Minney (guitars) have honed the repertoire over many performances in Australia, the USA and Canada. Keyboards are handled by Ross Edie, a talented pianist who is the accompanist at the National School of Ballet and formerly at the NSW Conservatorium of Music Bill Bostle (bass) has played on many internationaly released recordings and toured extensively in the USA, Europe and Australia, most recently with well-respected folk-rockers Born Again Pagans. Peter Stratford (drums) is a professional musician of long standing, and has produced substantial material for Larrikin Records. Dave Graham (guitars) helps flesh out Catweasel’s full on-stage sound.
