NORMAL DAY!...Normal day is as exciting & diverse as you could find outside the square. A four piece- arrangement with their unique style fit an outstanding presence & meaningful hymn to today’s lifestyles. NorMaL dAy History where it all began.......... Normal Day are a punk / rock band from Blue Mountains & Sydney Australia. Formed in December 1999 as a three piece consisting of Adam on bass vocals, Kris on guitar vocals & matt on the drums. Normal Day played through out Sydney, Blue Mountains South & North coast. Normal Day recorded there first album titled Monoplise in April 2000 which consisted of six tracks in the following order. Dreadlock Gypsy queen, on the run Grief, porno mag, fear, Inbred Jed. Normal Day's e.p was listed on mp3.com.au & within weeks Dreadlock Gypsy queen hit no. 1 on the charts, following grief which made it to the top 5. In the Following months Normal Day entered the 2blu fm nice noise comp and won, they had their cd featured on the 2blu fm radio station all with in a year of the band forming. After playing various gigs with bands such as Unpaid Debt (triple j unearthed winners) Heifer,the porkers, H block 101, etc. Normal Day now... had a line up change adding keyboardist Jamie and drummer Brett to the line up with new material there’s nothing stopping Normal Day. Normal Day have played in venues such as sold out harbour cruise's on Sydney Harbour, The Marquee, The Vic on the Park, the cat & fiddle, the Houpetoun, The Bat & Ball, Club Blink The Underground sessions etc.

Normal Day Completed their first tour this year called The Barfly tour.
They were flying from bar to bar playing as many shows as they could in a month from 'Sydney to The Blue Mountains to the North Coast'.
To catch Normal Day ‘s energy you have to see their live performances thats what its all about for these guys live music live live live. Normal Day cd's try to capture the live thing but you have to see them for the full vibe. Normal Day enjoy good crowds and even let them on stage for a bit of audience participation with a crazy keyboard player "dont stand to close you might catch a a keyboard". Normal Day*History*
formed in 1999 Normal Day's style is rock/ punk the band a five piece we have more than thirty orginals in our set. We also have accoustic songs NORMAL DAY formed in december 1999,

Normal Day are an independent band from Sydney's west.
Normal day's music is cross between
sk8/punk/grunge/garrage/rock/ska,they cater for almost every style.With influence's from The stones, jet, sex pistols,
nirvana,less than jake, the cure,
John Butler trio to the dandys.
When Normal Day formed they were a three piece consisting of
Adam Rawson, bass
Kris Bartlett, gutair
Matt gildon, drums

Normal Day then recorded thier first e.p in april 2000 titled monoplise and went on to play venues through out Sydney/ N.S.W


They played various venues such as :

Sydney Harbour cruises,The hopetoun, The Cat & Fiddle, The Marquee,The Royal Hotel Springwood, The Jolly Frog at Windsor, The Royal Richmond,The Kelts bar Blaxland, The Forest Inn Bexley, The Grand Hotel, Wyong & the Embassy hotel Penrith.


Normal Day decided they wanted a Second gutarist,fill out & give it more of a fat souund, So thats when they employed Marc, he comes from a heavy background ie,SYSTEM OF THE DOWN, DEFTONES, ETC.

After a few years of giging the band changed members, now with the most solid line up ever consisting of a new keyboard player new drummer and new second gutiarist. With our professional approach we will be able to take on the ever changing music industry.

Normal Day Recorded a Single called Bad reputation 2005 which is featured on mp3.com.au

Prospects for the future:

keep on writing new original material, gig as much as possible, record album, do video shoot for film clip etc.
