James Cooper is Australia's answer to the question 'Who will follow on from Paul Kelly [when he's gone]?". The young singer/songwriter in his mid 20's has [already] co-written The Whitlams recent #4 ARIA hit 'Beautiful As You' with Tim Freedman, released his debut album of folk/pop songs, "Second Season" in the UK, USA, Japan & Australia to rave reviews, performed to sell-out crowds on home turf, and worked as a session musician all over Europe travelling far & wide working mainly with Universal Music UK/Netherlands. What's more he's working on his follow up to 'Second Season' which will be a collection of folk/rock storytelling songs. Currently in pre-production with Michael Carpenter in the Inner West's Love Hz Studios (Sara Storer, Troy Cassar-Daley) Cooper will be ready to roll early 2008 with a new double A-Side single and an album to boot later in the year.
