Kurrel the Raven is a guy in a bedroom in Western Australia writing wicked tunes on his PC. Notable for a prolific and highly varied output (including house, hip-hop, shoegaze, breakbeat, ambient, IDM, abstract electronics and funky jazz), Kurrel’s tripped-out debut 2005 release “Blissblaster” met with praise from those who heard it.

The main bulk of his output comes courtesy of the Dailies, an intermittent three year project where each day a different song is written, arranged, tracked and mixed in the space of a few hours. This goes on for as many days on end as he can manage.

Kurrel the Raven also releases ambient and soft electronic music under the name Kwook!
