Punk Rock gets sexy with Legless! Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Legless are in demand all over the country. With a highly anticipated album almost ready for release and two headlining festival spots at Skysisters Symposium, (Toogoolawah, QLD) and the Mardis Grass Festival (Nimbin) in the next month, Legless have stepped into the stratosphere of today’s popular culture.

Fun and entertainment is the key to the success of this streamlined concept band. The four characters combine to give you the ultimate fantasy. Schoolgirl Amanda Emblem plays Bass Guitar and shares lead vocals with Nurse Raelene (Ra) Austerman. As well as singing back up vocals, Policewoman Sharon (Shazza) Beaumont plays Guitar and Imaj Groom, the Virgin Bride on the drums. The music is totally high-energy punk rock and the songs are simple, clever, tongue in cheek and totally entertaining.

The bands recent television performances on Channel 7’s “Australia’s Got Talent”, has won the band a legion of new fans, and the Legless website and Myspace sites attracting record hits. Red Symons reckoned Legless were “Too Sexy for TV” yet audiences lapped it up in the 7:00 timeslot… proving him very wrong indeed.

Legless have been on the roller coaster ride of rock since 2003, touring Japan in April 2006, performing in Adelaide and extensively throughout Country SA and Victoria. The band is a festival favourite having recently played on the main stage at t Sydney Mardis Gras Fair Day, Fuse Festival Showcase 2006, and Adelaide Feast Festival 2006/04. The Debut Album “Public Disgrace” is due to be released to be launched late 2007, meanwhile Legless are performing two shows in Sydney to promote the release of a double single, which will feature video clips of both songs “Girls In Action” and “Nutter”.

Legless return from Japan Undead punk rock band Legless has returned! Schoolgirl Amanda, Nurse Ra, Virgin Bride Imaj and Policewoman Shazza are now back in Australia after a hugely successful promotional tour of Tokyo. Legless dazzled Japanese audiences and media over ten days, securing music business deals and planning for further touring Japan and China in 2007. Legless tormented many willing victims throughout their visit, and have no doubt left Tokyo in a small state of shock. Japanese audiences were fascinated with the girls, despite their self declaration of at times being a walking cultural disaster. The impact of their visit is still to be felt with many television/internet interviews still to go to air in the coming weeks. Everywhere the girls went so did the video cameras and photographers. In media interviews band members were asked a barrage of questions, about their dress, their death and their music, but in the last interview of their stay, a journalist asked What type of man do you like to eat? Well, did he really want to know? Maybe he shouldnt give undead zombie chicks any ideas Put those handcuffs away! While in Tokyo Legless were not successful in recapturing their evil serial killer, Footfetish Fredo, (who murdered, amputated the limbs of the legless girls and brought them back from the dead) but his presence in Tokyo was undeniable. Fredo was spotted at one of the live performances at La Mama and is clearly in the background of national news footage at the Legless publicity appearance in Akihabera. The Legless ladies suspect Fredo has also returned to Adelaide and warn young females to be aware in the city. Back on Australian ground, Legless have returned to the recording studio recording new material and putting finishing touches on their debut album. The girls also judged the state finals of the air guitar competition at SKYCITY .
