Whether it was sent to your e-mail, a friend 'liked' the facebook page, someone handed you a burned disk or you discovered it in your own way; Projected Twin has it's own voice, story and a message for the world. Essentially a one man band founded by South Australian Shaun Holton, Projected Twin has grown via collaborations audibly, visually and sometimes verbally through 'people on the same page' from shore to shore.
Conceived late 2006 as 'something different and worth trying', Projected Twin took flight when Shaun Holton's early demos found their way into the Charts of Triple J Unearthed (Australia), MP3.com.au's top 50 and myspace playlists in late 2008.
The songs were loved by many and the ball was rolling.
These demos found their way to new media phenomena Cory Williams (SMP Films) and Ryan Cyr (Cyr1216). An alliance was born and Projected Twin was introduced to an audience that spanned over 500,000 people.
The youtube hits and subscriptions came flooding in and Shaun had found not a viral marketing plan, but a stage for Projected Twin's embryonic state.
Shaun used this opportunity to stretch out and give people the world over a taste of what can be performed by one man in one room.
Shortly the release of the Debut single 'We Know It's True' on iTunes cemented the sound of future music to come from the growing entity that is Projected Twin.
A year later PT has received over 16,000 subscribers, 1,000,000 video views, frequent iTunes sales world wide, 12 months and growing in the mp3.com.au top 50 and a number 4 placement in the Triple J Unearthed charts. The Projected Twin Youtube channel is currently in the top 20 Australian Music artists of all time and the top 50 Australian channels of all time. All this without the aid of a record label or management.

Now 2010 is here and eager supporters around the world are eagerly anticipating the release of the Debut album 'Earth To World'. Produced by Shaun Holton and up and comers 'XPM Productions'. Earth to world is 55 minutes of music constructed over 12 months in studio production and mixing (With a majority if the instrumentation performed by Shaun Holton). Taking time and not rushing a single note, reverb or drum EQ; Earth to world will not only surprise eager PT listeners but firmly place Projected Twin's foot in the foundation that is Independent music.

Earth To World: Released 21st July 2010 on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and available for order through Borders, selected CD stores and CDbaby.com

From the burbs of South Australia and commanding the stage with Double Handed / various projects, we all held our breath while Shaun Holton traversed the globe - selfish to have him back in our Adelaide pocket once more - his return from overseas was worth waiting for now that Projected Twin steps into the light. No matter the music genre you may have slotted yourself into, Projected Twin will find a way to tickle even the toughest critic and gain a nod of approval, and no wonder, with Shaun's voice being possibly the most inimitable to arise from SA (only reminiscent of the uniquely oral Daniel Johns from Ozzie rockers 'Silverchair'), there's really no comparing such talented, distinctive vocal tones. Take a journey with Projected Twin - keep an eye on your gig guides for the next big thing to rock Australia, and then the world.
