ROMBUS are an up and coming Melbourne duo breaking into the tough arena of fresh, original, live music. Their sound is ambient-rock with a hint of the psychedelic and a suggestion of pop."



These boys are taking it all the way... Sean and Rhett are two determined musicians giving their music and their audience everything they’ve got. They both have extensive musical backgrounds, with and without each other. Before ROMBUS they had casually jammed together as well as brief experiences with a diverse range of bands.



The last year has seen growth and maturity in their personal lives that has had a heavy impact on their creative styles. After a previous flirt with a more electronic/techno feel they have truly found their element. They have come to realize that to connect with their music they had to go back to the foundation of ALL great music, real human emotion. A simpler more earthy feel whilst still retaining a clean, fresh sound.



With time spent refining their talents, and getting their music ready for a live show, their first gigs have been greatly welcomed by their audience. The ball is rolling, watch out for the musical stylings of ROMBUS!
