STORY:

Rythmik Love started late 2008 after Singer (Amie Cox) met Lee Shaw (Music, Production work) through a mutual friend.
At this time both were between houses, having nowhere to live and being December (Summer here in AUS, tourist time) caught both of them out and if not for extreme bad luck on both parts they may never have met.
As fate had it not only did they meet, but they ended up going out, a relationship that is still going to this day.

As time went by their relationship developed and living in the area they did they started taking music more
and more seriously. It had always been Amie's dream to be a singer, and Lee was determined to provide the
music through which she could live her dream, himself searching for a singer for 3 years to no avail!

Throughout 6 months of personal & social dramas (that we needn't go into) living in an area such as
Frankston Nth (Those that know Victoria, know Frankston lol) they kept up the dream and Lee managed to write
3 songs for Amie that are now known as "Where are we going", "Waiting", and "Could Have Been".

However, Living in a share house made it impossible to do any real recording.... A move had to be made....

6 Months Later:

Finally in a new house, work began on the songs, lyric writing, melodies etc, slowly learning different
techniques aimed towards finally getting down a recording.
Of course, a 30 dollar microphone wasn't much of a start, but after many days of trial and error, repitition
and generalised frustration at how difficult it is to balance life and actually having the spare time to
record! they still managed to release 3 demos of arguable quality before they got any "real" hardware.

They now use an NT1A Microphone, and an XLR to USB Preamplifier to record vocals, though Lee is still
learning Mixing and Mastering in general so there's still much trial and error, they don't have an official
"studio" but Lee is very inventive at acheiving the sound he needs and gets better at it everyday.

Releases / Future Work:

Right now they're focusing on releasing as much quality content as possible, in the future Hip Hop / R&B are
something Amie would really like to pursue (She loves P!nk, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc and has quite
a strong voice herself), so they'll constantly be evolving their style to produce more varied material (not
just Electronica based) they dont want to stick to one genre specifically and you can expect something very different from time to time.

They have now re-released "Where are we going" it now has a better stereo image, better effects processing and better vocals, it's not the official release for it (we can't afford real studio time yet) but it's pretty damn good for now.
"Waiting" is rewritten and a really boppy, catchy and very addictive song, the melody is awesome and will definately get stuck in your head.
"Could have been" is about to be re-recorded but has been shadowed by new projects, this song is very cool and has some awesome vocal range with double tracked vocals showing a little RnB style coming out in Amie.
"Show Me Love" has just been released - Less vocals than previous songs, but more atmospheric, very Dance / Trance Pop! arguably our best song yet, and scored us an honorable mention at hitsongscience!
"Get Enough" Comes next and is so new we've decided to upload it in "Demo" form, the vocals aren't perfect but this song features vocal glitching, and yet another unbeatably catchy meldoy!

All in all 2009 has proved a very exciting start
to something that they hope to pursue for the rest of their lives.
And as an addendum, we have an untitled (Demo) Psy/Rock track that may be uploaded soon!
