Stupidly eclectic electronic punk noise rock trio from Newport, South Wales. Snork Maiden began one afternoon in April 2001. First emerging as a Merzbow influenced harsh noise duo consisting of Linus Fitness-Centre and wALdo, they tormented the Newport live scene for nearly a year destroying the hearing of all those who would seek to have their hearing destroyed. At some point they discovered the joys of melodic sound and in July 2002 music shop clerk Mr Eduardo joined as drummer / synthist to make them somewhat less shit. They developed into an electro noise rock trio, releasing the occasionally acclaimed album “eating is believing” in February 2003, before dropping much of the rock elements and concentrating on the electronica.
