Back on MP3.com.au & Album Renamed
Hey all! its been a while since we've done anything on here, but yeah, we are totally back! and with any luck we will actually maintain our mp3.com.au page once in a while from now on!
in other news, we have been forced to rename our forthcoming debut release due to potential (and very accidental) copyright infringements.
Unfortunately, due to my ignorance in the area of black metal, i was unaware that Century Media black metal fiends known as Naglfar (www.myspace.com/naglfar) had already named their March '07 release "Harvest", which in itself caused a bit of concern, but then upon closer inspection it became apparent that the cover of their album also had a distinct similarity to ours, that of course being the dark figure standing in the middle of the image.
Obviously this meant that something had to be done, so yeah, we have renamed our album back to what it was originally looking like being called in the first place... the new/original/old/whatever name of our debut release will now be :
"The Motionless Apocalypse"
I will admit that its a bit of a mouthful but hey, it sounds cool in my extremely valuable opinion! Zack will undoubtedly be happy because thats the name he voted for when we were deciding the name, but he got outvoted... but he got his way in the end hey!
I would just like to add that I heard Naglfar for the first time ever merely 2 days ago, the uncanny similarities between album titles and artwork were completely and very strangely coincidental, so dont go thinking i'm a rip-off merchant or something like that! it was totally completely an accident hahaha... gay...
just goes to show you that i should listen to more black metal! its a shame we arent a mainstream pop/rock group, in the field of which this kind of 'coincidence' is almost compulsory...
...nah screw that, metal all the way!
