London based Slot Jockey have been releasing material in the UK for 4 years to critical aclaim (NME reviews, Plays on MTV Europe and BBC's John Peel Show). Now SJ frontman Gareth Edwin Parton has relocated to Melbourne for 12 months and is looking to promote Slot Jockey here, and find new projects to get involved with. As a producer/engineer, Gareth has worked with many top UK recording artists (inc.The Beta Band, Ash, Mojave3)and also self produced the debut Slot Jockey album -Aim Lower-(recorded over 3 days in a garage)
