the record boys

The Record Boys started out as just that. Record Boys at the MCG. You see, during the footy season the AFL hire young men to sell official programs at the games, the programs are called records and the sellers are called Record Boys. Dave and Dan met selling records and that is how The Record Boys got their name.

Fast Forward 5 and a half years and The Record Boys have played over 130 shows, independantly released 2 EPs and have just finished recording their debut album at Supersonic Recordings, produced by Scott Kingman.

For a band with such a heavy sound they still manage to write songs with catchy tunes and sing a long chorus's.

The Record Boys are a great live band. They love beer! They also love playing gigs and give 100% at every show they play. Not many bands exert the amount of energy on stage that The Record Boys do. It really has to be seen to believed how much this band 'cut sic'.
