"A Southern Soul" is currently in production with completion expected by September 2008

"Fisherman's Shore" is a collection of ten unique & sophisticated pop pieces. All songs are melody driven, each are distinctive and different in style, laden with hooks, uplifting ambience and lush tasty arrangements.

The forth album "Struggle Street" is an eclectic mix of pop/rock, country rock ballads and trip hop conceptual pieces all set amongst Tony's popular spectoresque "wall of sound" production style. Features "Acquiesce".

Struggle Street's third release "Mein Caca" is a collection of 10 original melodic "story" songs. Retro 70's flavoured pop/rock compositions anchored down with guitar and coloured with rich vocal harmonies and understated orchestral arrangements.

The second release "Moon at Daybreak" is available and can be obtained by contacting the artist via email.

Primarily a studio artist, Tony started composing and recording in 1984 as an adjunct to his commercial interest as a recording studio proprietor and engineer. Years of writing and producing jingles and soundtracks has seen Tony evolve into a mature original singer/songwriter.

Struggle Streets next album due for completion by Dec 2008

Well five songs down - 5 to go!! Thats how I like to work, set up a goal of 10 songs, mark it as a collection that represents a period of time - this one will be 2007 - 2008. Im half way through this newie titled "Kings Cross Witness" . You know how us songwriters trawl through our past for inspiration and lyrical subject matter, well I was having a chat with a mate and I casually brought up a bit of historical trivia about myself, something I rarely do cos quite frankly I have no need too, anyways.... I told him that during my "born-again" period back in the early 80's I use to go up to Kings Cross every saturday night with my guitar, a bible and a heap of gospel literature to try and convert anyone who would listen. Id always go out with a couple of rabid hippy mates and we'd get the guitars out at Fitzroy Gardens, stand on the corner & sing and preach fire and brimstone like there was no tomorrow. The lovable night freaks of Kings Cross usually treated us with respect as we were basically harmless and we provided them with some light entertainment and a bit Jeeeeesus.... and hell yes, I occasionally closed the sale and led a few souls to the lord. Well I have grown up somewhat since then and my opinion on the subject of religion particuarly the "blind / dont use your brain" fundalmentalist kind has dimmed and I now take a more cynical and practical view on life. Anyways...... I decided this experience would be good fodder for an funky, soul, cynical piss-take. So stay tuned cos "Kings Cross Witness" I hope, will be a hoot.

Significantly for myself personally, the completion of this song will mark the end of a production era. For the last 10 years I have been recording (dont laugh) on a Windows 95 operating system using Logic Audio 3.5 Hmmm you say, Well I have a new rig! Ive taken the big step and dragged myself ikicking into the 21st century. Never again will I have to suffer signal processing overloads every 5 minutes and cursing the fact that Im a 1000 times faster than my shitty PC. I got myself a iMac 24" dual core with a monster 6gigs of ram just for processing, a terra internal & external HD, all the bells n whistles and Logic Studio Pro 8.... yay!!!!!!!!! plugin city! Its a new day! (thanx Celine) So the remaining (yet unwritten) 4 tracks of this collection should sonically and creatively be somewhat superior than its predessesors.... bloody better be cos the rig is costing me a damn fortune. And yes.... I know! Its the song, its always about writing THE song!............. I'll keep trying until the day I die.!

Typing this blog was fun, I think I'll do it again some day.

Peace - Struggle Street
