There is no simple category in which to place the music of Xaeja, so why even try?

With strong roots in '80s synth-rock, combining this with the power of large filmscore soundtracks and embracing current tech/dance influences, the various forms and moods of music created by Xaeja are as varied as the genre of 'electronic' music itself.
Darren, the musician behind the performance alter-ego, has been composing music since the late '80s and has performed in various cover and original bands prior to developing Xaeja.

As a solo artist, Xaeja has appeared on the Opus Collective compilation albums since the first release in 1995, and performs live for the Opus promotional gigs. (http://www.opuscollective.org.au)
